Thirty-Fifth Plenary Meeting: On May 19 2006 the final meeting of the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board was held as an open public teleconference. The five-member Board reviewed and approved the draft final report of the Science and Mathematics Education Task Force (SMETF). The Board approved the final report subject to the incorporation of minor comments and was disbanded on May 20, 2006.

Thirty-Fourth Plenary Meeting: On October 4, 2005 the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board held its Thirty-Fourth Plenary Meeting by open public teleconference. The Board reviewed and approved the draft final report of the Nuclear Weapons Complex Infrastructure Task Force (NWCITF):

• NWCITF Report - Recommendations for the Nuclear Weapons Complex of the Future, dated July 13, 2005;

  Note: The Board will review and discuss the following SEAB subcommittee reports during a subsequent meeting of the Board, which has not been scheduled.

• LOB Report - A draft final report of the External Members of the Laboratory Operations Board, titled Evaluation Processes for the National Laboratories, dated December 20, 2004
• NETF Report - A draft final report of the Nuclear Energy Task Force, titled Moving Forward with Nuclear Power: Issues and Key Factors, dated January 10, 2005

Thirty-Third Plenary Meeting: On Wednesday, December 10, 2003, the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board held its Thirty-Third Plenary Meeting in Washington, D.C. At the meeting, the Board approved three subcommittee reports:

• LOB Report - Management Best Practices for the National Laboratories: Report of the External members Best Practices Working Group, dated September 9, 2003
• FSP Report - Critical Choices: Science, Energy, and Security: Final Report of the Task Force on the Future of Science Programs at the Department of Energy, dated October 13, 2003
• BRC Report - Competing the Management and Operations Contracts for DOE's National Laboratories: Report of the Blue Ribbon Commission on the Use of Competitive Procedures for the Department of Energy Laboratories, dated November 24, 2003
